Continuing Medical Education (CME)

Candidates need to obtain a minimum of 75 hours of Allergy/Immunology CME credits from accredited organizations over each three-year period of the MOCİ process to fulfill the lifelong learning and self-assessment component.

Please note that only Category 1 credits in allergy/immunology will be accepted.

Instructions for Earning and Reporting CME Credits

  1. Earn Credits. CME credits can be earned from events and modules sponsored by accredited organizations. Contact each organization directly for further information about ways to earn credits.
  2. Submit Proof. Send a copy of documentation to ABAI via mail or fax as proof of the credits you have earned.
  3. Confirmation. ABAI will assess all credits earned when the diplomate applies for Recertification/MOC©.

ABAI CME Credits
ABAI diplomates who successfully complete all requirements of the Recertification/MOC© process are eligible for 25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits. Contact AMA to claim these credits and for further information.
