FSMB Approves Medical Misinformation and Disinformation Policy

The Federation of State Medical Boards recently approved a comprehensive medical misinformation and disinformation policy at its annual meeting. The policy and accompanying report provides key definitions, principles and recommendations state boards will be using to investigate and adjudicate an increasing number of complaints since the onset of the pandemic.
